Your own keys
Google Vertex AI
Use your Google Cloud project's Vertex AI quota through DigitSpace for Gemini, Claude and partner models, with a service account key.
There are three Vertex providers in the list:
| Provider | For |
|---|---|
| Google Vertex AI (Gemini) | Gemini models |
| Claude on Google Vertex AI | Anthropic's models on Vertex |
| Google Vertex AI (partner models) | Other partner models on Vertex's OpenAI-compatible endpoint |
All three take a service account key.
Create the service account key
- In the Google Cloud console, open IAM & Admin → Service accounts in the project you want billed.
- Create a service account and give it the Vertex AI User role.
- Open it, go to Keys → Add key → Create new key → JSON, and download the file.
For Claude, also enable the Claude models in Vertex AI's Model Garden for that project.
Add it
- In Provider keys → Add a provider key, choose the Vertex provider.
- Paste the whole JSON file as the key. It must include
client_email,private_keyandproject_id; the project comes from the file. - Choose the Location:
globalby default, or a region where your models are available. - Save. DigitSpace checks that Google accepts the service account.
What it serves
Your Vertex key serves the models DigitSpace's catalogue routes to that Vertex provider. See Providers. Vertex doesn't give DigitSpace a model list, so other models aren't added automatically. On Enterprise you can add them as custom models.
