Questions
What is DigitSpace?
A hosted AI gateway based in Singapore. One API and key reaches 47 models from 6 providers; DigitSpace picks the model and provider for each request, fails over when a provider breaks and records what every request cost.
How is it different from calling OpenAI or Anthropic directly?
You get every provider through one key and one API, automatic failover, per-request cost tracking, budgets and access rules, and guardrails, without an SDK or fallback code per provider.
Do I need to change my code?
Only the base URL and the API key, if you use an OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible SDK.
What does "auto" do?
It picks the cheapest model that can handle what the request needs, at the quality level you set: economy, balanced or best.
What does it cost?
Each model at its provider's price, plus a 5% fee when you top up credits (and 1.5% for cards issued outside Singapore). Requests on your own provider keys are free. Enterprise is priced per contract.
Can I use my own provider keys?
Yes, free. Add OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Azure, Bedrock, Vertex or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, and choose per project whether to use them, credits, or both.
What happens when a provider is down?
Requests that time out, are rate-limited or get a server error move to the next healthy provider, up to three attempts in all.
Which models are available?
47 text models today from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, Mistral and DeepSeek. The models page lists them all with current prices.
Do you support images, embeddings or audio?
Images can be sent to models that read them. Image generation, embeddings and audio endpoints aren't available yet.
Is my data stored?
Request metadata is, for your usage history. Prompts and answers are kept only if your organisation turns retention on.
Where is DigitSpace based?
Singapore: 7 Temasek Boulevard, #12-07 Suntec Tower One, Singapore 038987. The service runs on AWS in Singapore.
